2022 HO Omni Slalom Waterski
The Omni waterski was designed with versatility in mind, offering skiers the opportunity to ski both course and open water. You will find it excellent behind virtually any watercraft and on inland or coastal waters. The wide platform helps deep water starts and generally reduces strain on the body, as well as providing stable wake crossings.
Shape: The Omni was designed to be wider than a classic narrow body course ski but without heading the wide body specific end of the spectrum, at which point you tend to bring in a numb feel and lack of performance. For 2022 we see the introduction of a wider profile version for those who desire even simpler deep water starts.
Both the classic Omni and new Wide body version use a continuous rocker for a predictable feel and confidence inspiring turn initiation. The Clean Edge Technology tail reduces drag 50% by allowing water to release cleanly off the bottom of the ski. This differs from conventional edges where water wraps around the bevel, up the sidewall and releases off the upper edge creating suction.
The Omni ski uses a fiberglass polyurethane wrap to create a stable and damp feel, being extremely forgiving in less than ideal conditions.
Instinctive turns with no paralleling
SWITCHBLADE FIN SYSTEM
Take out the guesswork and never lose your fin settings! Just swap in a new blade shape and you're ready to experience new performance characteristics from your ski. The new settings are built into the blade. We've done the work for you.
A waist width halfway between a traditional ski and a wide-ride ski provides for smooth instinctive turns at a wide range of speeds
Added stability in turn balanced by low drag Clean Edge tail
ASHER BALANCE FIN
Reduced fin length for quick turn rotation combined with a new distribution of surface area for great cross course direction. Shaped by Will Asher.
CLEAN EDGE 3.0 TAIL
