Bob and Barbara Findlow, both passionate scuba instructors, started selling diving equipment from their home in 1981.  Nearly 40 years later we no longer sell from a small garage, instead having built a purpose built facility employing over 20 members of staff.  

As well as a fully stocked showroom and private parking, Robin Hood Watersports includes a heated pool, classroom and on site servicing/manufacturing departments.

Based on the A1/M1 and M62 corridors in West Yorkshire, we’re only 20 minutes from Leeds and less than an hour from Manchester, Sheffield, York and Skipton. Why not head over for a look around and a chat with our expert staff? We’re also well stocked with tea and coffee!

Each of our departments have experienced staff who are passionate about their sports, many are also instructors, coaches, brand ambassadors and service technicians in their specialised areas.

For the divers amongst you, or if you are thinking of giving diving a try, we’re a PADI 5 Star Dive centre.  Our courses are run from our on-site pool and classroom facilities with the open water elements carried out in Capernwray and Stoney Cove. Courses range from ‘Discover SCUBA diving’ up to ‘Assistant Instructor’

We appreciate in some cases customers would like to try before making a purchasing decision. That’s why we are one of the biggest demo centres in the UK for windsurf, kayak, SUP and diving equipment.  Our passionate staff hold regular demo events in the North of England and Wales.
