Kneeboards
Kneeboards are one of the simplest ways to get friends and family on the water. That’s not to belittle their progression potential and performance edge, as full wood core boards such as the O’Brien Sozo are continually pushing for improvement within our sport. Boards from Jobe, O’Brien, Radar and HO can be easily subdivided into rotomoulded and composite constructions. The former are plastic and ultra robust, so perfect for family sharing. They generally come with a quick start aqua hook, into which the handle sits when setting off. This allows the rider to concentrate on balance and kneestrap placement. You can then retrieve the handle once comfortably up and riding. In contrast, composite boards are lighter and more responsive but compromise a little in durability and ease of use. Need a recommendation on the perfect board for you? Just get in touch.
