2027 Radar Senate Graphite Men's Slalom Waterski
The Radar Senate Graphite is a stable, confidence-inspiring crossover slalom ski designed to deliver smooth, consistent performance in a wide range of conditions. Combining Radar's Vapor-inspired shape and Performance Width with an Aero Core and 100% carbon fibre construction, the Senate Graphite offers earlier turn initiation, strong direction and effortless speed, with a forgiving and composed feel.
Radar Senate Graphite Men's Slalom Waterski
Confidence, built in. The Radar Senate Graphite is designed for skiers who want genuine slalom performance combined with a stable, predictable and forgiving ride.
Built around the same latest-generation shape as Radar's Vapor Series, the Senate Graphite adds 2/10" of Performance Width to provide additional lift and support at slower speeds. The result is a ski that rolls into the turn early, drives strongly through the finish and builds speed naturally across the course.
The key difference with the Graphite is its construction. Radar's Aero Core is designed to provide a forgiving and consistent response, giving the ski a deeper, more composed ride through changing water conditions. Combined with 100% carbon fibre construction, the result is a ski that maintains its rhythm and momentum without becoming demanding.
As the UK's largest Radar dealer, we spend a lot of time helping skiers choose equipment based on how they actually ski, rather than simply recommending the most expensive or highest-performance option. The Senate Graphite is particularly interesting for skiers who want to progress their technique and enjoy the performance of a modern slalom ski, while placing a high value on consistency and confidence.
Performance Width
The Senate's Performance Width is central to the way this ski performs.
Rather than simply making a Vapor wider, Radar retains the important active wet surface of the tunnel and edge bevels, then adds surface area outside this area. A small additional rail between the outer edge of the concave and the bevel creates extra lift and support at slower speeds.
This allows the Senate Graphite to maintain the roll, grip and drive expected from a performance slalom ski, while giving the skier a more supportive platform underneath them. In practical terms, you can slow the boat without making the ski itself feel slow.
Aero Core
The Senate Graphite uses Radar's Aero Core, designed to provide a forgiving and consistent response.
The deeper ride helps the ski absorb changing water conditions while maintaining momentum and rhythm. This makes the Graphite particularly appealing to skiers who value a composed, predictable feel and want a ski that remains comfortable and connected when conditions aren't perfect.
The Aero Core is combined with 100% carbon fibre construction to provide consistent flex and a predictable feel from one set to the next.
Vapor Shape, Made More Accessible
The Senate Graphite uses the same latest-generation shape progression as the Vapor, with additional Performance Width to make the platform more supportive at slower speeds.
The result is earlier and more consistent roll into the turn, stronger tip-down drive out of the finish and efficient direction through the wakes. Rather than requiring the skier to work harder to make the ski perform, the Senate Graphite is designed to help create speed and flow naturally.
Designed by Matt Rini, it is a high-performance crossover ski with an emphasis on consistency, control and confidence.

Our Advice
The Senate Graphite sits towards the performance end of the Radar range, but its Aero Core gives it a particularly stable and composed character. If you want a ski that can deliver strong performance without feeling overly demanding when conditions change, this is a model worth considering.
Compared with the Senate Alloy, the Graphite is focused more heavily on a forgiving, consistent and composed ride. Both use the same Vapor-derived shape and Performance Width, but the different core constructions give them a different character on the water.
Choosing the right ski is about more than simply matching your weight to a size chart. Your skiing ability, boat speed, previous ski and what you want to achieve all make a difference. If you're unsure whether the Senate Graphite is the right Radar for you, please ask. As one of the UK's largest Radar dealers, we're happy to offer honest, experienced advice based on how you actually ski.
