Goya Custom Quad 8 Pro Carbon, two years of development, an eternity of knowledge. Now in its 8^th generation the Custom Quad has evolved into being the wave board for all sailors and conditions. A Shorter outline, new rocker and rail shape tuning allows the Custom Quad to sit wherever you like on the wave, maximising surf time and radical turns. Unique to Goya they have implemented new US Boxes which save riders 100gs per box fitting, almost half a kilogram per board.

Description

The Custom Quad 8, Goyas flagship board for all waves and conditions. With two years of development, countless windsurf hours and decades of knowledge, generation 8 is one we’re going to remember. A new rocker line, shorter outline and rail shape adjustment allow the Quad 8 to sit deeper in the wave without losing any of its speedy characteristics. Being able to place the board right where you want it, with more speed and turn ability which is what sets this apart from previous generations.

A huge push for this new generation is the reduction in board weight. By reducing the weight Quad Generation 8 planes earlier, feels livelier and are is efficient. Swing weight has been reduced making manoeuvres effortless and Drag has been kept to a minimum which then maintains top speed by increasing waterflow. The reduction in weight has been achieved by implementing custom US fin boxes which are 50% lighter, meaning 100gs per fin box = 400g savings on the Quad. The deck sticker has been removed which reduces the weight but also improves the sustainability with less plastic involved.

Custom Quad Shape Details

Outline – Shorter and more compact for improved manoeuvrability

Rocker – Higher nose entry with lower tail rocker. Early planing with increased speed.

Rails – Thicker/fuller at the front and thinning from the mast track backwards to reduce drag.

Volume – Flatter and more stable standing area for non planing with an increased dome shape between straps for improved response when driving through the board.

Bottom – V at the front into double concace finishing with single concave at the tail. Faster and more forgiving than previous generations.

Custom Quad Key Features

Construction – More custom than ever. A combination of Carbon and S-Glass offering the lightest construction whilst maintaining strength. PVC Sandwhich layout offers the best possible strength to weight ratio.

Fin Box – Custom Quatro Windsurf US Boxes, 100gs lighter and stiffer than previous models. 400gs to be saved against previous Custom Quad boards.

Mast Track – 7 inch mast track to eliminate wrong positioning of the rig. Another 100g reduction in weight.

MFC Carbon Quad Fins – Based on the ever popular MFC K300 this new design advances in lighter winds with increased lift whilst maintaining the control in nuclear winds. Carbon construction improves top speed with reduced flex and torsion.

Foostrap Plugs – Double inserts at the rear give a more locked in feel with Antitwist washers holding the fort up front.

MFC Footstraps – A new design maintains the boards sleek look. A calibration remains on the inside of the strap to get the perfect fit.

Deck Pad – Dual Density pads offer cushioning and board feel underfoot. A new square pattern is angled in the most optimal way to maximise grip.

Your Delivery

The range of products we offer means there is nothing standard about our deliveries. We use a range of couriers, including DHL, UPS and Royal Mail. For in stock items we aim for delivery in 1-3 days.

On receipt of an order, the relevant specialist staff member will contact you to confirm the stock position and shipping time. This gives you a direct contact for any requests and advice that might be helpful.

When courier services are used, you can expect tracking information and estimated arrival times to be communicated via email. However, always feel free to contact our staff at any point should you require assistance.

Receiving your order

When you receive your item(s), please check to see if there is any damage. Once the drivers manifest has been signed it voids any insurance claim. If you are unsure, please sign as "damaged", which will allow you/us to make a claim later on if required.

If you suspect that your goods are damaged please take the time to check the items with the driver present or refuse the package and ask the courier to return to sender.

Returns

Sometimes things don’t go to plan and you might feel the need to arrange a return. If you receive an order and find you have changed your mind, or the item just isn’t right for you, don’t worry. Goods can be returned for a refund within 30 days from the date of purchase (subject to our product exclusions). The process for both in store and mail order purchases can be seen below:

Postal Returns Procedure

If posting your return please email [email protected] for approval, as well as any advice required prior to sending. You would then simply ship the unwanted goods to our 152 Leeds Road address, including a copy of your original receipt and information on the required course of action.

Purchases from store

If you bought goods from our Heckmondwike based store you may, at our discretion, be able to return items within 30 days for a full refund, as long as they have not been used and still have the original labels attached. Please bring the items back to the shop, together with your receipt. Any refund can only be made using the same method as the original transaction.

Goods must be returned in an unused, re-saleable condition, with their original packaging, and all labels still attached. They should also be securely packaged to ensure the contents are protected during transit. Our Returns Team will review all items to ensure they meet the criteria outlined in this policy. If an item is returned outside of our Returns Policy, we may be unable to process a full refund. We will contact you in such circumstances.

Product Exclusions

There are some exclusions to our Returns Policy, as detailed below:

Personalised or customised items, such as custom canoes, made to measure drysuits etc.
Gift vouchers cannot be returned
Products that have been opened or unsealed cannot be returned
Products returned in an unsatisfactory condition cannot be returned
Products which have been damaged in return transit due to insufficient packaging cannot be returned

This Return Policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Finance

Who can apply for finance?

You must:

• Spend over £300

• Make a deposit of at least 10%

• Be at least 18 years of age

• Have been a UK resident for 3 years or more

• Be able to make repayments by Direct Debit

• Be in regular employment* (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in a permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment
