The Custom Nitro 2 is the compact wave board from Goya. Shorter, more efficient and faster than ever the Nitro has been designed to turn on-shore days into the best days. With this comes Goya's world-renowned lightweight carbon construction, carbon MFC fins and ultra light custom Quatro fin boxes. The 79, 85 and 91 feature a quad set up and the 99 and 109 come with a thruster set up. The option for a 5 fin box set up was discussed but in true Goya fashion, they optimised each board for the correct setup, reducing additional weight and drag.

Description

The Nitro has been in development for the past few years and has already proven itself as a world title-winning board with Marcilio Browne. Marcilio used this board in Sylt and on the rare onshore/side-shore days in Maui.

Countless prototypes and years of evolution have led Francisco Goya and the team to the Nitro 2—the all-new compact wave board from Goya. Improved efficiency has allowed for a shorter design, which complements the board’s compact nature. What gives the Nitro its distinct feel is the placement of the rear footstrap right on the tail of the board. This allows riders to command the board and position it exactly where they want it. This back-foot position becomes the pivot point, enabling the board to turn on a dime. A snappier, faster turning sensation is further enhanced by the significant reduction in weight in this generation. Fin boxes are 100 grams lighter per box, sticker graphics have been removed, and carbon fins are now used—the list of refinements goes on.

Due to its shorter, stockier build, the Nitro 2 has a noticeably pronounced deck, giving the rider plenty of grip for instant response. By reducing both the overall weight and length of the board, Goya has also decreased swing weight, making manoeuvres feel more controlled and balanced. The improvements in efficiency, the new rocker, and a sharper rail all contribute to the Nitro’s impressive acceleration and early planing performance.

When looking at the Goya wave board range, the Nitro Pro 2, Custom Quad 8, and Custom Thruster 4 should be considered siblings. While not identical, they share a very close relationship. If you like the Quad, you’ll absolutely love the Nitro.

Custom Nitro 2 Shape Details

Bottom - V with a double concave blend nose to tail, creating a faster and easier rail-to-rail forgiving bottom shape.

Outline – Wider tail allows for a parallel outline and therefore more board speed.

Rocker - Higher nose entry with lower tail rocker. Early planing with increased speed.

Rails - More surfy and forgiving up front, sharp, fast at the back. Thicker and more full in front of the mast track, accelerated tapering towards the tail reduces drag.

Tail - A Wider Drop swallow tail for added support, release and range.

Custom Nitro 2 Key Features

Deck Pad – Dual Density pads offer cushioning and board feel underfoot. A new square pattern is angled in the most optimal way to maximise grip.

Foostrap Plugs – Double inserts at the rear give a more locked in feel with Antitwist washers holding the fort up front.

MFC Footstraps – A new design maintains the boards sleek look. A calibration remains on the inside of the strap to get the perfect fit.

Construction – More custom than ever. A combination of Carbon and S-Glass offering the lightest construction whilst maintaining strength. PVC Sandwhich layout offers the best possible strength to weight ratio.

Fin Box – Custom Quatro Windsurf US Boxes, 100gs lighter and stiffer than previous models. 400gs to be saved against previous Custom Quad boards.

Mast Track – 7 inch mast track to eliminate wrong positioning of the rig. Another 100g reduction in weight.

MFC Carbon Quad Fins (79, 85 and 91) – Based on the ever popular MFC K300 this new design advances in lighter winds with increased lift whilst maintaining the control in nuclear winds. Carbon construction improves top speed with reduced flex and torsion.

MFC Carbon Thruster Fins (99 and 109) – A 1mm channel has been added at the tip of the fin to minimse drag and help with release. A carbon construction allows for consistent flex and torsion as well as quick response. This all helps with top speed and early planing.

Your Delivery

The range of products we offer means there is nothing standard about our deliveries. We use a range of couriers, including DHL, UPS and Royal Mail. For in stock items we aim for delivery in 1-3 days.

On receipt of an order, the relevant specialist staff member will contact you to confirm the stock position and shipping time. This gives you a direct contact for any requests and advice that might be helpful.

When courier services are used, you can expect tracking information and estimated arrival times to be communicated via email. However, always feel free to contact our staff at any point should you require assistance.

Receiving your order

When you receive your item(s), please check to see if there is any damage. Once the drivers manifest has been signed it voids any insurance claim. If you are unsure, please sign as "damaged", which will allow you/us to make a claim later on if required.

If you suspect that your goods are damaged please take the time to check the items with the driver present or refuse the package and ask the courier to return to sender.

Returns

Sometimes things don’t go to plan and you might feel the need to arrange a return. If you receive an order and find you have changed your mind, or the item just isn’t right for you, don’t worry. Goods can be returned for a refund within 30 days from the date of purchase (subject to our product exclusions). The process for both in store and mail order purchases can be seen below:

Postal Returns Procedure

If posting your return please email [email protected] for approval, as well as any advice required prior to sending. You would then simply ship the unwanted goods to our 152 Leeds Road address, including a copy of your original receipt and information on the required course of action.

Purchases from store

If you bought goods from our Heckmondwike based store you may, at our discretion, be able to return items within 30 days for a full refund, as long as they have not been used and still have the original labels attached. Please bring the items back to the shop, together with your receipt. Any refund can only be made using the same method as the original transaction.

Goods must be returned in an unused, re-saleable condition, with their original packaging, and all labels still attached. They should also be securely packaged to ensure the contents are protected during transit. Our Returns Team will review all items to ensure they meet the criteria outlined in this policy. If an item is returned outside of our Returns Policy, we may be unable to process a full refund. We will contact you in such circumstances.

Product Exclusions

There are some exclusions to our Returns Policy, as detailed below:

Personalised or customised items, such as custom canoes, made to measure drysuits etc.
Gift vouchers cannot be returned
Products that have been opened or unsealed cannot be returned
Products returned in an unsatisfactory condition cannot be returned
Products which have been damaged in return transit due to insufficient packaging cannot be returned

This Return Policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Finance

• Spend over £300

• Make a deposit of at least 10%

• Be at least 18 years of age
