Control, without compromise. The 2027 Radar Vapor Lithium combines Radar's latest Vapor shape with an M-80 Core and Sigmatex Carbon construction to create a high-performance slalom ski with a smooth, composed and predictable character.
The new Vapor shape is a significant evolution of Radar's flagship slalom platform. Developed by Matt Rini, it is designed to create more space through the turn, encourage earlier movement and generate stronger tip-down drive out of the finish.
The result is a ski that rolls onto edge early, builds speed progressively and maintains direction through the course without requiring the skier to constantly manage the ski underneath them. The Vapor Lithium retains the performance characteristics expected from a modern course ski, while its construction gives it a smoother and more controlled response.

The New 2027 Vapor Shape
For 2027, Radar has significantly evolved the Vapor shape with a clear objective: create more space and encourage earlier movement into the turn.
The new shape rolls into the turn earlier and creates stronger tip-down drive out of the finish. This helps generate more space off the second wake, smoother and more continuous acceleration across the course, and a more aggressive path into and out of the turn.
The tip, forebody and tail are designed to work together as a unified system, helping the ski maintain speed and direction throughout the turn. The result is a platform that responds consistently while allowing the skier to move freely without having to fight or manage the ski beneath them.
Forward Drive Geometry
The new Vapor uses Forward Drive Geometry to encourage forward movement through the turn.
Radar has narrowed the forebody by 100/1000" and widened the tail by 50/1000". This geometry is designed to encourage tip-down drive beneath the skier's feet, helping maintain momentum and allowing the skier to move into stronger, more connected positions with less effort.
M-80 Core
The Vapor Lithium uses Radar's M-80 Core, engineered from an 80 kg/m³ core construction.
This construction is designed to provide a smooth and progressive response, allowing the ski to rebound predictably while maintaining a controlled connection with the water. The result is a ski that rewards commitment without becoming unnecessarily demanding.
Sigmatex Carbon
The Vapor Lithium uses Sigmatex Carbon construction, combining high strength with a refined composite package.
Working alongside the M-80 Core, the Sigmatex Carbon construction contributes to the Lithium's responsive but composed character. The ski reacts cleanly to skier input while maintaining a smooth and predictable feel through the turn.
Pure Vapor DNA
The Lithium retains the complete performance philosophy of the new Vapor shape. Its early roll, strong tip-down drive and efficient acceleration are designed to help the skier create speed and angle naturally.
Where the construction makes a difference is in the character of that response. The Lithium is designed to deliver a smoother rebound and more predictable acceleration, creating a settled connection to the water that allows the skier to concentrate on their movement rather than constantly managing the ski.

Fin Settings

Within the Vapor range, the Lithium provides a useful balance between performance and approachability. It has the speed, acceleration and response expected from a high-performance course ski, but its controlled rebound and predictable acceleration make it easier to settle into a consistent rhythm.
Choosing the right high-performance slalom ski is about much more than matching your weight to a size chart. Boat speed, skiing ability, previous ski and preferred setup all make a difference. Your Delivery
The range of products we offer means there is nothing standard about our deliveries. We use a range of couriers, including DHL, UPS and Royal Mail. For in stock items we aim for delivery in 1-3 days.
On receipt of an order, the relevant specialist staff member will contact you to confirm the stock position and shipping time. This gives you a direct contact for any requests and advice that might be helpful.
When courier services are used, you can expect tracking information and estimated arrival times to be communicated via email. However, always feel free to contact our staff at any point should you require assistance.

Receiving your order
When you receive your item(s), please check to see if there is any damage. Once the drivers manifest has been signed it voids any insurance claim. If you are unsure, please sign as "damaged", which will allow you/us to make a claim later on if required.
If you suspect that your goods are damaged please take the time to check the items with the driver present or refuse the package and ask the courier to return to sender.

Sometimes things don’t go to plan and you might feel the need to arrange a return. If you receive an order and find you have changed your mind, or the item just isn’t right for you, don’t worry. Goods can be returned for a refund within 30 days from the date of purchase (subject to our product exclusions). The process for both in store and mail order purchases can be seen below:
Postal Returns Procedure
If posting your return please email [email protected] for approval, as well as any advice required prior to sending. You would then simply ship the unwanted goods to our 152 Leeds Road address, including a copy of your original receipt and information on the required course of action.
Purchases from store
If you bought goods from our Heckmondwike based store you may, at our discretion, be able to return items within 30 days for a full refund, as long as they have not been used and still have the original labels attached. Please bring the items back to the shop, together with your receipt. Any refund can only be made using the same method as the original transaction.
Goods must be returned in an unused, re-saleable condition, with their original packaging, and all labels still attached. They should also be securely packaged to ensure the contents are protected during transit. Our Returns Team will review all items to ensure they meet the criteria outlined in this policy. If an item is returned outside of our Returns Policy, we may be unable to process a full refund. We will contact you in such circumstances.
Product Exclusions
There are some exclusions to our Returns Policy, as detailed below:
- Personalised or customised items, such as custom canoes, made to measure drysuits etc.
- Gift vouchers cannot be returned
- Products that have been opened or unsealed cannot be returned
- Products returned in an unsatisfactory condition cannot be returned
- Products which have been damaged in return transit due to insufficient packaging cannot be returned
