Easy out of the water. Easy on edge. The 2027 Radar Session Women's Slalom Waterski is built to make skiing enjoyable from the very first pull. Stable at slower speeds, predictable through the turn and easy to roll from edge to edge, it provides a genuinely accessible slalom experience without feeling like a traditional wide ski.

The Session is part of Radar's Open Water Series and is designed to be the ski that stays close to hand whenever there's an opportunity to get on the water. It combines the stability and easy starts associated with a wider platform with the feel and behaviour of a true slalom ski.

The women's-specific construction is tailored to provide a lighter and fractionally softer flex than the equivalent men's construction. This makes the ski easier to load and exploit, helping the skier get the most from its performance without needing to overpower the ski.

Grip Rails 2.0

Wider skis are naturally easier to get up on, but the additional width can traditionally make them harder to roll onto edge and hold that edge through the wakes.

Radar addresses this with Grip Rails 2.0. The angled rails effectively create a pseudo-tunnel beneath the ski, directing water flow towards the centre. This allows the Session to roll, grip and maintain its edge more naturally through the turn.

The result is a clever combination of stability and performance. You get the easy starts and support of a wider ski, while retaining the natural edge engagement and carving characteristics expected from a genuine slalom ski.

Women's Specific Construction

The Women's Session uses a female-specific composite construction, tailored around the requirements of female skiers.

The construction is lighter and fractionally softer than the equivalent men's specification, making the flex easier to load and exploit. Rather than requiring the skier to generate large amounts of force to make the ski work, the construction is designed to respond naturally to the skier's input.

This complements the Session's overall design philosophy perfectly: easy to start, easy to engage and easy to enjoy.

All-Terrain Construction

The Session uses Radar's All-Terrain construction, designed around forgiveness and ease of use.

Combined with the wider platform and Grip Rails 2.0, this gives the ski a particularly stable and predictable feel. It's a platform that allows the skier to concentrate on enjoying their skiing rather than worrying about making every movement perfectly.

100% Carbon Fiber

The Session incorporates 100% carbon fiber construction to provide consistent flex characteristics.

The Women's Session is available in two sizes. Radar's recommended weight ranges provide a useful starting point when choosing your ski, although boat speed, skiing ability and personal preference can also influence the ideal size.

Our Advice

The Session is designed around one simple idea: make slalom skiing easier to access and more enjoyable. The wide platform makes getting up remarkably straightforward, while Grip Rails 2.0 ensure that the additional width doesn't turn the ski into a cumbersome, difficult-to-edge platform.

For female skiers, the dedicated construction is another important part of the package. The lighter, fractionally softer composite layup makes it easier to load the ski and get a meaningful response from the flex, particularly for skiers who don't generate the same forces as a heavier or more powerful skier.

We'd particularly recommend considering the Session if you're moving beyond a beginner or learner ski and want something that will continue to offer genuine slalom characteristics as your skiing develops. It is forgiving enough to inspire confidence, but still rolls naturally onto edge and carves rather than simply sliding across the water.

Your Delivery

The range of products we offer means there is nothing standard about our deliveries. We use a range of couriers, including DHL, UPS and Royal Mail. For in stock items we aim for delivery in 1-3 days.

On receipt of an order, the relevant specialist staff member will contact you to confirm the stock position and shipping time. This gives you a direct contact for any requests and advice that might be helpful.

When courier services are used, you can expect tracking information and estimated arrival times to be communicated via email. However, always feel free to contact our staff at any point should you require assistance.

Receiving your order

When you receive your item(s), please check to see if there is any damage. Once the drivers manifest has been signed it voids any insurance claim. If you are unsure, please sign as "damaged", which will allow you/us to make a claim later on if required.

If you suspect that your goods are damaged please take the time to check the items with the driver present or refuse the package and ask the courier to return to sender.

Returns

Sometimes things don’t go to plan and you might feel the need to arrange a return. If you receive an order and find you have changed your mind, or the item just isn’t right for you, don’t worry. Goods can be returned for a refund within 30 days from the date of purchase (subject to our product exclusions). The process for both in store and mail order purchases can be seen below:

Postal Returns Procedure

If posting your return please email [email protected] for approval, as well as any advice required prior to sending. You would then simply ship the unwanted goods to our 152 Leeds Road address, including a copy of your original receipt and information on the required course of action.

Purchases from store

If you bought goods from our Heckmondwike based store you may, at our discretion, be able to return items within 30 days for a full refund, as long as they have not been used and still have the original labels attached. Please bring the items back to the shop, together with your receipt. Any refund can only be made using the same method as the original transaction.

Goods must be returned in an unused, re-saleable condition, with their original packaging, and all labels still attached. They should also be securely packaged to ensure the contents are protected during transit. Our Returns Team will review all items to ensure they meet the criteria outlined in this policy. If an item is returned outside of our Returns Policy, we may be unable to process a full refund. We will contact you in such circumstances.

Product Exclusions

There are some exclusions to our Returns Policy, as detailed below:

Personalised or customised items, such as custom canoes, made to measure drysuits etc.
Gift vouchers cannot be returned
Products that have been opened or unsealed cannot be returned
Products returned in an unsatisfactory condition cannot be returned
Products which have been damaged in return transit due to insufficient packaging cannot be returned

This Return Policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Finance

Who can apply for finance?

You must:

• Spend over £300

• Make a deposit of at least 10%

• Be at least 18 years of age

• Have been a UK resident for 3 years or more

• Be able to make repayments by Direct Debit

• Be in regular employment* (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in a permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment
