Rescue Diver

Challenging and rewarding best describes the PADI Rescue Diver course. This course will expand your knowledge and experience level. Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is challenging, it is a rewarding way to build your confidence. Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. Many divers say this is the best course they’ve ever taken.

Pool dives introduce you to the new skills needed to perform a successful rescue of yourself or a buddy. This is then taken into an open water environment where realistic scenarios are played out. By the end of the course you will be physically and mentally drained, but will come away with a new confidence in your ability.

Divemaster

The first professional level in the PADI system of diver education.

Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational diving begins with the PADI Divemaster program. The course consists of home study followed by eight exams covering all areas of diving, a watermanship assessment and an internship, where you assist an instructor as they train various students at all levels.

This course is not to be undertaken lightly. Although fun, the aim is to produce a responsible and capable Divemaster who can take charge of diving activities, or assist an instructor in the training of other divers.

There is no time limit on this course as the only way to become a good Divemaster is to practice. By the end of your course you will have all the knowledge of an instructor.
