Diagnostics

The Aladin Pro
Ultra switches on automatically and runs a self-diagnostic
check as soon as it's immersed in water..
|
Dive
Mode

Once you descend
below half a meter, the Aladin Pro Ultra automatically
displays the current depth (12.1m), elapsed dive time
(7 min) and the no-decompression stop time remaining
(99 min). The set percentage of oxygen is displayed
at the beginning of a dive until maximum depth is reached,
but at least for the first 5 minutes of the dive.

Decompression
Stop Indicator

If a diver exceeds
the no-decompression limits, the horizontal DECOSTOP
arrow appears to indicate how much time to spend at
a specific depth for decompression. In the example shown,
the total ascent time is 7 minutes, and the diver is
recommended to stop at 6m for 2 minutes. The CNS O2
toxicity is also displayed at 20%.
|
Ascent
Rate Alarm

If a diver's
ascent rate exceeds the allowable ascent rate for any
given depth, the SLOW arrow will flash and a beep will
sound. Continue a 140% violation for longer than 10
seconds and the warning display is recorded into the
log book.
