Goya One 2008 Goya One 2008
Freewave evolution

The 2008 Goya One is one board for all. All sailors, all conditions. That is why we call it that way and we really like the idea of taking just one board to the beach that will perform at its best whatever wind and surf you find. This board is shorter and wider than our radical wave board. It is more stable and forgiving when you stand and trick on it, which is achieved by distributing the volume more equally to the rails. It combines our most positive and progressive ideas into a balanced and compact design that translates into earlier planning and a powerful controllable ride. Beginners and intermediates are welcome to this waveboard just as advanced sailors will find pure bliss in this One, as you can fully ride this board in virtually any conditions and get the most out of your session. Plus, it is a great forgiving first-time shortboard for anyone feeling their way into wavesailing, making it our most versatile board. It has a very fast rocker and an accelerating V towards the tail. This means it has less rocker on the center line than our wave boards, but more of it towards the rails. Thus it is fast accelerating and vividly turning once you throw your body weight back. In the turns it's a wave board, on the straight it's a speed needle. We recommend this board for beginner to advanced sailors.

    Goya FXR 2008
    Freemove/Freeride Combo

The 2008 Goya FXR has been redesigned from scratch for this year. The result is a freeride board that is easy, stable and really fast. You like competing and speeding? Do not feel ashamed or afraid. We encourage you to race your friends and have fun We promise you will not sail in somebody else's wake. This board does in fact not let you feel its size. The shape of its bottom is designed to cut through chop like powder, by eliminating any flat sections. This translates into the great feeling that movements your body makes are directly transferred into turns your board does, which is nice to experience on a bigger sized board. Tight turns and fast jibes are exactly what this board empowers you to do. The FXR will also glide smoothly through holes that you experience when winds are light, so that once you are planing you won't lose that beautiful feeling. And because of its feather weight, you can turn the slightest wave into massive air. All in all, the FXR combines the best of both worlds - freeride and race, and will remain in fine sailing shape for years to come. We added another model to the line so that you can now choose between sizes of 105, 125 or 145 liters. We recommend this board for beginner to advanced sailors.

Goya Custom Wave 2008 Goya Custom Wave 2008
    Globally Inspired Ho'opika Influenced

The 2008 Goya Custom is called custom for a reason. Francisco will take his favorite board at the end of the year and send it to Thailand to have the molds made from that very board. The production offspring is then constructed using our specific lay-up and finish. This means the best board literally gets better by going through the perfect manufacturing. So we're not just calling it that - you are getting a custom board. The board features a new-style short shape with amazing performance in full on frontside conditions. This board loves big bottom turns on epic sideshore days just as much as tight top turns, which is why it's also perfectly suited for smaller waves and on-shore conditions. The 2008 Custom features aggressive footstrap inserts that allow you to stand out on the rail and push hard against the fin, with the board responding to your every whim. It's easy to set the rail and reap the rewards. Its carving and slashing factors are unrivaled. The 68 and 75 liter models feel weightless and powerful under your feet when winds get strong. They supply full control in overpowered conditions. The 81 and 90 are ideal for medium to light-wind conditions, and they are also great for the heavier rider who is looking for a hardcore wave board to ride in strong winds. We are using Carbon and Biaxial Glass to build these boards and it allows us to add great strength and flex to the production models. We recommend this board for intermediate to advanced sailors.

    Goya X1 2008
    Revolutionary Freestyle/Freewave Transformer

The 2008 Goya X1 is a progression of the One, but with a distinct and extreme focus on Freestyle. X for Extreme. Your choice of setup will define the mood of this board and decide just how extreme you want to go. Nevertheless this board follows our principles of covering a wide range of use scenarios. It let's you decide on the water, and not on the beach, whether you feel like doing a sick freestyle move, a massive jump or a radical turn. That is really the way Francisco likes sailing. Spontaneous. It is in fact what we believe Windsurfing and good Product Design is about. Incorporating possibilities without expanding the gear. The range stretches from bump and jump to light wind waveriding to the ultimate in professional freestyle. The X1 gives you the unlimited freedom to express your style and keeps expert riders smiling during tricks on both flat water and chop. If you are new to freestyle, you will find yourself inspired and building confidence. The X1 combines the abilities to plane early and move fast in any direction, thanks to its rapid rocker and beveled tail. It sports excellent top speed. Like the above was not enough, we are proud to be able to offer you the lightest board in its class and encourage you to push your limits. We recommend this board for beginner to advanced sailors.

    Goya The One 2007
    Freewave evolution

The original idea of this design was to create an evolution from my previous FreeWave line. The development got really exciting taking over a year of prototypes and at the end it delivered a lot more than what I expected. I knew that one day eventually, the design evolution would allow us to ride one waveboard for all conditions and styles, I just didn't know this was it's time. With these new shapes, I was able to combine all the positive features from my previous FreestyleWave designs into one. The ONE Aqua Series is a balanced and compact design that translates into earlier planning and a powerful controllable ride in all wind angles and seas conditions. My team riders are using these lines the most, as the added range allows them to get the most out of their sessions. For me personally, they are one of my favorite boards to ride, as I’d always rather be on a wave board but sometimes the conditions are not fully there.

    Goya Custom Wave 2007
    Globally Inspired Ho'opika Influenced

The new Goya Custom Wave Series boards are shorter, not wider, with even better performance from our previous Wave line in full on frontside conditions and through the reduced length they’ve got easier to ride on the smaller waves and in side-on or on-shore conditions where the turns get tighter. The 68 and 75 perform well anywhere the winds are strong, including lakes and spots with side-shore and on-shore winds. I especially recommend these sizes for intermediate to advanced sailors who will be riding in medium to strong winds. The 81 and 90 are ideal for side-shore medium to light-wind conditions, and they are also great for the advanced, heavier rider who is looking for a hard-core wave board to ride in strong winds no matter what direction the wind is blowing.
