Aqualung Legend Supreme Regulator Introducing the new Aqua Lung Legend Supreme, a cold water rated environmentally sealed regulator with additional cold water features. The new legend is smaller and lighter than the old model, providing a more comfortable dive. The balanced diaphragm first stage offers exceptional performance at any depth, cylinder pressure or condition and the added benefit of the environmental seal helps prevent cold conditions from affecting the first stage reliability. The Legend Supreme second stage is fitted with additional cold water measures including heat exchangers and a lip shield (which can be easily removed) but most importantly it has been specially adjusted to resist freezing. A venturi switch provides control of freeflow on the surface and whether the regulator isn't in use. A redesigned exhaust deflector provides better dispersion and easier exhalation. Aqualung Legend LX Supreme Regulator The Aqua Lung Legend LX Supreme replaces the old but successful and reliable Legend range. The new model is smaller, lighter and integrates the latest in design and materials to surpass the performance and reliabiltity of the old Legend. The first stage is still a environmentally sealed balanced diaphragm design to provide excellent performance at any depth, cylinder pressure and condition. The environmental seal allows the first stage to adjust as you change depth without the need for water and contaminants interacting with the internal parts. The Supreme versions are fitted with additional features including a heat exchanger in the hose near the second stage to warm the air flow as it enters the second stage and also a lip shield (which can be easily removed). The LX Supreme model is also fitted with a multi purpose second stage control called MBS (Master Breathing System) which allows control over the venturi (direction of air flow) and breathing effort. The Supreme versions have also been specially adjusted to resist freezing in extreme cold conditions. Aqualung Legend Lux Supreme Regulator The Aqua Lung Legend Lux Supreme is the new flagship regulator that replaced the old Legend model. The striking Black and Pink Gold finish provides a tougher coating than traditional chrome plating to help protect these regulators whilst providing a very stylish look. The first stage is a balanced diaphragm design with the added benefit of an environmentally sealed balance chamber for improved cold water use and reliability. Four low pressure and 2 high pressure ports offer good flexibility for hose routing and attachment for cold water diving. The second stage is connected with a flexible yet tough braided hose with offer a longer life than a standard rubber hose and also protects the hose from UV damage. A heat exchanger is fitted next to the second stage to warm the air flow as it enters the second stage, helping to prevent freezing and free flows. The new legend has been redesigned to be smaller and lighter, offering a more comfortable dive. The new MBS (Master Breathing System) allows dual control over the air flow within the second stage (venturi) and also the inhalation effort.
